Salt spring Island is a wonderful place to explore. The nature and ecosystems are as rich and colourful as the culture and creative community. There are approximately 11,000 people living full time on the island and triple that in the summer months. This makes for great community events like the Saturday Farmers Market during the summer months and Fall Fair, amazing music concerts, lively theatre, and acclaimed Master Artists of many disciplines live and work here.

Ganges Village

Jade Farm Archery Club is located .5km from Long Harbour Ferry terminal and onlya 10 minutes drive to Ganges Village center. There are two major supermarkets Thrifty's and Country Grocer. as well huge Farmer's Market located in Ganges There are many amazing eating out options in the summer months winter is limited to a good handful of restaurants.
Summer months there are dozens of very fine farm stands, artisans and cool activities to check out.
Transportation
There are actually 3 BC ferry terminals on Salt Spring. Easily find your schedules here:
Summer weekend travel with a car requires a reservation well in advance!
There is a decent island Taxi service and a bus service that coordinates with the Ferry schedules.

There are hotels, motels, campsites, cabins on the lakes and hundreds of Air BnBs on the Island. Reservations needed months in advance for any summer dates
